D.C. Law Students In Court will be
hosting our first Auction & Reception
on Thursday May 20th, 2010 at the
Washington Home of Stewart R. Mott in
Washington, D.C.
Proceeds from the auction will ensure that
low-income DC individuals and families
continue to receive high-quality legal
assistance and representation in our Civil
and Criminal Divisions. Contributions will
also help to create leaders in our
community, leaders who can share their new
knowledge about their rights and the
judicial system with family members or
friends in crisis, leaders who may become
the Pro Bono Counsel at their firm, who
work in public interest or volunteer in
their community.
Through your support, you
will be with our students and attorneys
every day as they fight for their
clients. The need for high quality
legal representation for low-income
individuals is even more important today
as it was when LSIC began more than forty
years ago. We hope you can join us on May
20 to continue the fight for justice.
